Pholeos

WUSS produces a biannual scientific journal named Pholeos (from Greek φολεος - cave). The first issue was published in 1981, and is currently distributed to cavers, grottos, and scientific organizations in all 50 states and 28 countries. In addition to speleology and karst research, Pholeos also includes cartography, photography, poetry, cartoons, works of short fiction, and much more.
